Daftar is a personal expense tracker. It's designed so that your bank messages and transactions never leave your phone. Daftar is not affiliated with or endorsed by any bank.
What Daftar reads
- Notifications from the apps you choose (for example your bank app, or Messages for your bank's sender name only), if you allow notification access.
- SMS from the bank senders you choose, in the version installed outside Google Play, if you allow SMS access.
- Text you paste into "Paste a bank message".
Notifications and messages from other apps and senders are ignored.
What Daftar keeps
Daftar keeps only transaction details: amount, currency, shop, date, category and type. It also keeps a short excerpt of the message with balances, card numbers, account numbers and codes removed. It never stores your balance, one-time codes, PINs or full card numbers.
All of this is stored in Daftar's private storage on your phone. Retention: it stays on your phone until you delete it or uninstall the app. It's excluded from cloud backups. You can delete it at any time (Profile → Backup & data → Clear all data), or by uninstalling the app.
What Daftar sends
Nothing. Daftar has no internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere. There are no ads, no analytics and no accounts.
Backups and CSV exports are files you create and save yourself. Backups are encrypted with a password only you know.
Optional on-device AI
On supported phones, you can turn on AI suggestions (Profile → On-device AI). They use Google's AI built into Android (Gemini Nano, through Android AICore):
- The message text, with sensitive numbers already removed, is processed on your phone by that Google system component. It isn't sent over the internet by Daftar.
- Google may collect anonymous diagnostics about its AI service, under Google's own privacy policy.
- AI suggestions are never saved without your confirmation, and you can switch AI off at any time.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published at the same address with a new effective date, and the app's release notes will mention it.
Children
Daftar isn't intended for children under 18.
